Michelle Wright is a Canadian singer/songwriter who came out of the chute country and has stayed true to her roots. She has won numerous awards in Canada and has released close to 10 albums over her career.

Wright's big break came in 1991 when she was chosen to open for Kenny Rogers on his tour. The exposure helped her "Michelle Wright" album to chart and the rest, as they say, is history.
