Bio

As a keyboardist and pianist, Stu Goldberg has the distinction of having played with many of the leading artists of the jazz-fusion genre during its emergence in the 70s. From John McLaughlin's Mahavishnu Orchestra, to Al Di Meola and Larry Coryell and others, Goldberg has shared the stage with many other world class musicians. He has also played with other jazz legends such as Wayne Shorter and Freddie Hubbard.

Goldberg has also gained recognition as a producer, a film scorer, and a composer. His work can be found in hundreds of tv episodes as well as in dozens of films.

Born and raised in the USA, after graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Utah, Goldberg moved to Europe where he recorded 10 solo albums while also touring with Mahavishnu Orchestra and other fusion projects. His subsequent return to the US found him deeply involved in the LA session musician scene, playing on and then later composing his own film and tv scores.

Most recently, he has moved to the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada, where he has established his own recording studio and also continues to perform live.
