LA born Robbie Krieger is best known for his tenure with The Doors. As well as being the guitarist in the band, he also wrote some of their biggest hits, such as "Light My Fire" and "Love Me Two Times"

Having started playing flamenco, rather than rock, Krieger was and is still a thumb and fingers guitarist rather than a pick player. He is still active in a number of projects and recently (2010) released his 7th album, entitled "Singularity".
