From Northern Ireland, Gary Moore made his mark in the early days playing rock, and playing it in bands such as Thin Lizzy. In particular, his work on their "Black Rose: A Rock Legend" has stood the test of time and features gorgeous playing from Moore.

His solo career took him deeper and deeper into the blues where he would record his own albums, and guest appear for the likes of Albert King, Albert Collins and B.B. King, among others.
