Seattle alt rock band Soundgarden was formed in Seattle, the home of the grunge movement, in the mid 80s and was the first grunge band to get singed by a major label.

They were originally active from 1984 to 1997, and are now back touring again.

The group released 5 studio albums, along with 2011s Live on I-5 disc.
