Violinist Caroline Campbell has appeared as soloist with the Cleveland Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Indianapolis Symphony, and many other symphony orchestras. She has soloed in prestigious venues from Carnegie Hall to the Kennedy Center, and in exotic locations from Kuala Lumpur to the Sydney Opera House. In high demand both in the classical and popular scene, she has been nicknamed "violinist to the stars" and hand-picked to play duets with world-renowned artists including Sting, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Buble, Garth Brooks, Josh Groban and Julio Iglesias.

Caroline tours regularly with jazz trumpeter Chris Botti, with whom she has appeared with the Detroit, San Francisco, Atlanta, Boston Pops, Houston, and St. Louis Symphonies, and on tours to five continents. She is featured on his upcoming CD, "Impressions," and will perform with him in upcoming tours in the US, Russia, Poland, Australia and France.

Reviewers have concluded that Caroline is "an artist in her own right" and "pulled out all the stops and blew us away with her easy virtuosity - rapid scales and leaps, double-note passages, and harmonics so magical and in tune that they took your breath away," and that "Campbellā€™s total magnetism as a performer is simply astonishing."

Ms. Campbell's virtuosity and passion have also led to recordings and live performances of film music. She recorded for major blockbusters such as "Spiderman" and "Pirates of the Caribbean," recorded solo violin for Jennifer Aniston's recent movie, "Wanderlust," performed the virtuosic "Red Violin" Concerto by Corigliano, and recently premiered Theodore Shapiro's "Suite for Violin and Orchestra" from "The Devil Wears Prada" with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.

In Los Angeles, Caroline is first violinist of the classical-crossover Sonus Quartet, which has appeared at Disney Hall, and collaborated with Stevie Wonder in the premiere of his newly commissioned work at the Library of Congress . She performs and records with artists including Black Eyed Peas, Carrie Underwood, Paul McCartney, Barbra Streisand, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Seal, Herbie Hancock, TI, Alicia Keys, Sarah Mclachlan, Rod Stewart, Norah Jones, Rihanna, Neil Diamond, Bette Midler, Lionel Richie, Natalie Cole, John Mayer, Michael Buble, Jaime Foxx, Michael Bolton, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Carlos Santana, Jackie Evancho, Brad Paisley, Queen Latifah, Josh Groban, Daughtry, John Legend, Adam Sandler, and Gnarls Barkley, among many others.

Her TV appearances include The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, the Grammy Awards, American Idol, Dr. Phil, SNL, The Ellen Degeneres Show, MTV Movie Awards, People's Choice Awards, American Music Awards, Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O' Brian, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Young and the Restless, and The Tyra Banks Show, among others.

In addition to performing, recording, and making TV appearances, Caroline is devoted to helping young musicians develop a passion for music. She has mentored individual students, coached underprivileged young violinists in Colombia, volunteered in CoachArt in Los Angeles, and is currently helping create a music festival in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, bringing together professional and aspiring young musicians.

Caroline studied violin with David Cerone and Donald Weilerstein at the Cleveland Institute of Music. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa with BS and MA degrees from Stanford University, where she studied computer science, logic, linguistics, and psychology.
