George Mraz is a jazz bassit and alto sax player, originally from what is not the Czech Republic. He has worked with some of jazz's biggest names, including Oscar Peterson, Stan Getz, Chet Baker and others. He has also played with both John Abercrombie and Herbia Hancock.

Mraz has releaed 6 albums as a band leader and played on many others.
