Tal Farlow was one of the most significant jazz guitarists in the history of the idiom and the instrument. His technical prowess stood him heads and shoulders above most of his contemporaries.

Farlow combined his enormous hands with fierce technique and his own unique approach to establish himself firmly as a unique voice able to play blazingly fast lines with a lightness that was awe inspiring. Serious jazz guitar students still study him to this day.
